#6 - Chatting with the Champs

In the final episode of the series, Paul Collins sits down with two of Ireland's top trainers, Noel Meade and Gordon Elliott. Both racing legends share stories from their careers and discuss the joys and hurdles they have had along the way, highlight the ups and downs of the racing business and the importance of staying level-headed.  They discuss the valuable lessons in resilience, teamwork, and the pursuit of success.

 

Gordon Elliott reflects on his successful career, including winning three Grand Nationals and a Cheltenham Gold Cup. He emphasizes the importance of having a good team, and admits to his guilty pleasure of watching "Home and Away.' after a long day of racing.

 

Noel Meade shares his training philosophy and the evolution of the racing industry. He cherishes the memories and the success he has achieved over the years, including winning the Galway Hurdle and the Irish Grand National.
